Wine Medicine and the Ancient Mediterranean Lifestyle for Healthy Centenarian and Supercentenarian Living
This “Wine as medicine” book shows that one of the missing links to conventional and integrative medicine is wine medicine. The Medicinal Wine Institutes’ book thesis is based on the hard evidence that light and-or moderate quality wine within the culinary context of a Mediterranean diet and concomitant ancient Mediterranean Techniques, can significantly contribute in resolving the present chaotic, costly and chronic disease epidemics in the United States while adding many healthy years to one’s lifespan.
Rich in preclinical, epidemiological and randomized controled evidence, this books also argues that not drinking wine is much more of a health risk than drinking wine, especially when wine is taken timely, (in terms of chronobiology) lightly and-or moderately, synergistically (like in a fiber-rich Mediterranean diet context) and in a “joie de vivre” ambiance.
This “Wine as Medicine” book shows the evidence that supports the claim that wine will safely and efficiently promote the healing of over a dozen common health disorders and diseases, including cardiovascular diseases, cancer, diabetes, osteoporosis and mental disorders. But for this healing to happen, the patient must follow most of the Medicinal Wine Institute’s Twelve rules. For patients who don’t have enough working liver alcohol break-down enzymes, wine can still be a medicine, but its ethanol dosage must be reduced and different botanicals should be added.
Furthermore, the book explains how wine medicine positively impacts biochemical longevity mechanisms, some of which are related to apoptosis, autophagy, senescence, vascular integrity, mTor, microbiota diversity, neurogenesis, glymphatics, telomeres and a few other biological processes, all of which favor Life, health and Longevity.
The book’s author, Pr. Joubert, biogerontologist from France, was trained at the Oenology Institute of Talence, next to Bordeaux France, which is one of the best wine schools of Europe. He grew up in the Haut Médoc where his father worked, for both Chateaux Margaux and Mouton Rothschild in Pauillac. He has taught law and medicine for many years and is presently living in one of the five Mediterranean climate and wine-rich areas of the world, South California. He is available to talk about this future book to diverse groups.
Excerpt from the Book’s Introduction
Consistent evidence shows that the longevity benefits of wine are much greater than not drinking wine. Different studies show a gain of five years and more
“Life expectancy was about 5 years longer in men who consumed wine compared with those who did not use alcoholic beverages”. (J Epidemiol Community Health. 2009 Jul;63(7):534-40)
Furthemore, when moderate wine is consumed in conjunction with an over-all healthy lifestyle, including Mediterranean-like diets, we are looking at over ten “extra” years.
“… women who maintained all five healthy habits gained, on average, 14 years of life, and men who did so gained 12 years, compared with those who didn’t maintain healthy habits”. (Source)
Even better, by following the Medicinal Wine Institute’s Wine-Mediterranean Centenarian Holistic Protocol, we are looking at a gain of over twenty years. (Source). A Life Extension “feat” which is difficult to achieve without quality and moderate wine.
This fact suggests that humans have been evolutionarily designed to fuel themselves with ethanol, especially when the Milieu is defficient in quick-acting and heat-producing calories. While it’s been around 45 millions of years that animals have been getting “drunk” with ripe fruits (without apparent “hangovers” characterized by migraines and vomiting), it has been around 10 millions of years that the Forces of Evolutionary Nature fine-tuned primates’ ethanol break-down enzymes to near perfection, thanks to which humans have been much more efficient in burning ethanol as a useful calorie fuel. (Source).
In addition to wine’s contribution to Longevity, quality and moderate wine is helpful for both the prevention and the reversal of cardiovascular disorders, cancer, diabetes, hormonal problems, bacterial issues, bone loss among many other conditions. Furthermore, adapted wine intake (ie, moderate to light) will also bestow upon the vino buff the look of youth and vitality in terms of weight management, glow and a few other biological processes.
“Men and women who drink alcohol tend to have a stable body weight over a decade of observation compared with their non-drinking counterparts, whose weight increases”. (Source)
And if the wine enthusiast uses wine topically as it has been done for thousands of years, then the skin and hair beauty benefits are even more apparent.
However, to earn many “extra” years of quality Life extension as well as many other health-promoting “gifts” that can help to avoid chronic diseases, multiple “drinking wine” holistic principles or rules need to be diligently applied, the ignorance of which can lead to degenerative diseases and a short life-span.

Holistic Cardiology: Theory & Practice
Book One: Holistic Cardiology: the Mediterranean Lifestyle & quality red wine: Introduction and pathophysiology
Book Two: Holistic Cardiology: Reversal holistic solutions, with a critical analysis of modern cardiology.
Human beings have over 60,000 miles of vessels (veins, arteries and capillaries) that are regulated by angiogenesis processes. For each cell (the major unit of Life) to thrive, this vasculature and its endothelium need to be in tip top shape. The vasculature is one of the most vital components of human biology that determines many other vital physiological functions. Medical schools teach this basic knowledge, yet cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are still the first cause of premature death, disability and collective suffering. CVDs are also the easiest conditions to reverse holistically.
In this first volume, Pr. Joubert examines symptomatology, diagnoses and the pathophysiological mechanisms of the most common cardiovascular disorders, including, but not limited to atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease, heart valve dysfunctions, congestive heart failure, arrhythmias and sudden cardiac arrest. The first part of this book concludes with some of the most important tests and preventive measures that could save millions of lives if they were diligently put in place.
In the second Volume, Pr. Joubert analyzes different innovative and holistic treatment plans that can successfully address most cardiovascular disorders. A special focus is given to both holistic vegan and improved Mediterranean Diets, both of which include the judicious use of quality red wine.
Having practiced holistic-health care and lived most of his Life in Mediterranean France and Israel, Pr. Joubert is in a unique position to explain why the Mediterranean-inspired lifestyle is good medicine and how the 800 billions dollars American Cardiology Industry can and should go holistic and Mediterranean in most of its treatment plans. There are no biological “fatalities” or “necessities” that justify the condemnation of the vast majority of Americans to early cardiac arrests, disability and deaths, let alone to be diagnosed with arterial stiffness, insulin resistance, hyperinsulinemia, A and V Fibs, diabetes, erectile dysfunction, high blood pressure, calcification disorders, artherosclerosis and other forms of stenosis. Just about all of these disorders can be avoided with holistic cardiology and most of these diseases can also be reversed with the Institute’s basic twelve Fundamentals.
The book’s author, Pr. Joubert, biogerontologist and jurist from France, has taught law (including at Gonzaga Law School) and medicine for many years and is presently living in one of the five Mediterranean climate and wine-rich areas of the world, South California. He is available to talk about this Holistic Cardiology book as the “new standard of care” to diverse groups.
Book One has around 200 pages with over 200 reference notes.
Book Two has around 140 pages with a little over 100 references
These two Ebooks come with a three hours coaching session on general rejuvenation and on how to use wine and other holistic interventions to optimize a healthy long lifespan and a robust vasculature : 700 dollars. Later on, these two books will be sold for the market price without coaching sessions.
